How many tools do you have to fix your house and car??!!
Bet you have loads, but none (or very few) for your body. Think of the Thera Cane as the best tool you could have in your body toolbox!
I had bought the Trigger Point Therapy Workbook by Clair Davies and his advice to save your hands by using this tool is spot on. Having had back problems since age 15 and occasional massage therapy to treat some problems, I am now able to have total control over my own treatment. The more sedentary my work has become, the more back pain I have suffered through not enough attention to posture at computers etc.
My little "ladybird" massage tool is relegated to 2nd place as the Thera Cane has to be number 1, being so easy to use and no strain for your hands. It is also very strong and light. I can't recommend this enough and it does come with some instructions for those who don't have the book. I have to agree with another reviewer who said it's addictive...it is, because the relief of pain and the regaining of movement is so liberating and uplifting!

I bought Thera Cane one month ago and I must say this is an excellent self-massage tool, especially if you know about trigger points. I was sceptic when I saw it on Amazon (it looked kind of strange to me) but
now I use it every day and it's doing great job helping my muscles to be relaxed, flexible and pain free. I was a bit afraid I can break it (I weight 96 kg so I can put quite a big pressure on it) but the tool is very solid (and it's light as well) and what is really nice is that you don't have to use much force to apply proper pressure on a trigger point, because if you position Thera Cane properly it works like lever. This is great because it wouldn't be easy to relax one muscle while tensing the other in the same time. Just follow instructions, listen to your body and you'll benefit more than you expect. I wish I knew about Thera Cane and trigger points 10 years ago.
If you didn't hear about trigger points and you have long-lasting health problems like back pains, knee pains, neck or arm stiffness, elbow or palm pains etc. then do yourself a favour and read about The Trigger Point Therapy Workbook by Clair Davies or read book excerpts on books.google.com. Read what other people say about it (look also for comments on american amazon.com) and ask yourself if 11 pounds is too much for, maybe, getting a chance to get rid off your pain and changing your life forever. It has changed my life and even if it was to change yours in 10% as much as mine, then you will not regret it.

What a godsend!!!
I ordered a Thera Cane and was thrilled that it arrived the next morning. I was even more thrilled that after a few minutes use on my neck & shoulders, I could put my hands behind my back - something I hadn't been able to do for ages.
I have extremely painful trigger points and my late mother used to massage them for me. The Thera Cane substitutes for her "magic thumbs" and if it had been available in her lifetime it would have saved the poor lady's pain her own hands she suffered helping me.
I can reach even the most difficult trigger points without twisting & contorting and with the leverage the Thera Cane provides I can treat myself with minimal effort and maximum effect.
